LENA RUTH NELSON Lena "Ruth" Nelson, 86, of San Angelo, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2005. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, with Dr. Don Ardrey officiating. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Ruth was born July 24, 1919 to Porter and Audrey Gray in Hamlin, Texas. She married Arlin I. Nelson and they had one child, Byron Alan Nelson. Ruth enjoyed golf, quilting and crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and son. She is survived by her grandson, Matt Nelson and his wife Carrie of San Angelo; grandson Ryan Nelson of Arlington; four great grandsons, Austin, Dustin & Justin Nelson of San Angelo and Ryland Nelson of Midland. She is also survived by one sister Rena Kiick of San Angelo.
