Leon Clay

Leon Leaveil Clay, 36, of San Angelo, passed away on Saturday February 11, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 2, 1981 to Howard and Patricia (Weaver) Clay in Hobbs, NM. He attended school elementary school in Hobbs, NM. and Central High School in San Angelo. He was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by father, Howard Leon Clay, brother, Howard Lee Clay, grandparents and his aunt and uncle. Leon is survived by his daughter, Melia Clay; mother, Pat Clay; fiancé, Nadia Alaniz all of San Angelo; three sisters, Tami R. Clay-Mitchell of Saginaw, TX, Telytha Blackburn of Frisco, TX, Cheri Clay-Reed of Pflugerville, TX. Funeral services will be 10:00am Friday, February 17, 2017 at St. Paul Baptist Church, with Rev. Charles A. Davis, officiating. Burial will take place at Prairie Haven Memorial Park in Hobbs, NM at 10:00am (mountain time) Saturday February 18, 2017.
