LESSIE LAMESA "LEE" VICK DIXON

Lessie Lamesa "Lee" Vick Dixon, 98 of San Angelo passed away Saturday, August 30, 2008 at an area nursing home. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at the Grape Creek Cemetery with Chaplain Roger Roenfeldt, Vista Care Chaplain, officiating. Lee was born February 20, 1910 in Wayland, Texas to Ernest and Nona Mae Maynard Vick. She was a housewife. She married Allie L. "A.L." Dixon in San Angelo on September 3, 1958. She will be laid to rest on what would have been their 50th wedding anniversary. She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, two brothers, three husbands, one granddaughter and three great grandchildren. Lee is survived by two daughters; Reecie Lee Wallace Flower of Windsor, MO. And Marie Bouse Murphy of San Angelo; a sister, Jackie Vick Kennedy and husband, Elmer of Grape Creek, TX., 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 30 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends In Lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations go to West Texas Rehabilitation Center at 3001 S. Jackson, San Angelo, Texas 76904 The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Legend Oaks and the doctors and nurses at Vista Care Hospice for the loving care provided for Lee.
