LEWIS R. " BOB" KNIGHT

Lewis "Bob" Knight, 83 of San Angelo died Friday February 27, 2009 at his residence. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Bob was born July 11, 1925 in Mattoon, IL. To Louis C. and Elsie Pearl Leathers Knight. He was an industrial engineer and served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corp. in World War Two. He married Geraldine F. "Shana" Herd on July 3, 1990 in Independence Mo. Survivors include his wife, Shana of San Angelo; a daughter Melissa McCarthy of Titusville, Fl., three sons; Robert Knight and Mark Knight, both of Orlando, Fl. And Brian Knight of San Angelo; two step sons; Robert Sager of Denver and Brian Keith Anders of Erwin, TN., and two step daughters, Michelle Hormann of Kansas City, Ks, and Debra Lynn Wileman of Colorado Springs, Co.; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. The family wants to give a special thanks to Hospice of San Angelo for their care and support.
