Loretta Lewis Dallas, a longtime resident of San Angelo, passed away, April 21, 2011. She was surrounded by her loved ones and angels from heaven when she passed. She was born to Laurence and Mozell Owen Lewis on January 27, 1937 in Snyder, Texas. She married Dale Dallas on February 17, 1962. Before her retirement, she was employed at the North Bryant Wal-Mart. She truly enjoyed her job and the many friends she made there. She was a member of the Red Hat Club. She will be remembered as "Contessa Contrair". She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, crocheting, hummingbirds, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Myrtle Rae Moore, and two sons, Roger Henson and Johnny Henson. She leaves behind family who will cherish her memory. They are her children, Sheryl Johnson, Jim Dallas and wife Deb, Caroline Henson, Jesse Henson, Lorri Ferguson and husband LeRoy, Karla Fisher and husband CJ, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother Jim Sword, sister's, Jain Moon and Barbara Livengood, special nephew Monte Merriman and wife Carolyn, her favorite uncle, Charles Lewis and wife, Eva. Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Eulogy will be given by Monte Merriman along with special songs to be sung by Carolyn Merriman. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. The family expresses their gratitude to Medway Home Health, especially Jovita, Becky and Loretta's BFF, Dr. Chris Barnett and Vista Care Hospice.
