Lucy Mae Bailey

Lucy Mae Polley Bailey, 94, of San Angelo, passed away on Wednesday December 6, 2017. She was born on October 25, 1923 to William and Bessie (Holder) Polley in San Augustine, TX. She attended school at North Texas State in Denton and graduated with her degree in Business Administration. Lucy retired after 20 years from I.C. Express Freight Line in Wichita Falls. She married Wade Bailey on June 9, 1973 in Wichita Falls. She was a career woman, a golfer, tennis player, swimmer and an artist. She and Wade loved to travel. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Wade Bailey, and her sister; Maureen Jones. Memorial services will be 1:30pm on Friday, December 8, 2017, at Lyndale, 6101 Grand Court Rd. with Pastor Bobby Roger, of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will take place in the City of Levelland Cemetery next to her husband. Memorials are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church at 2321 Armstrong St, San Angelo, TX 76903.
