Luis Hernandez Jr., 69 went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at his residence. Prayer Service will be 7:00pm Monday June 9, 2014 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Robert Massie Funeral Home with Pastor Alex Tenorio, of House of Restoration Church officiating and Pastor Luis Soto. Burial with military honors will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Luis was born February 3, 1945 in San Angelo, Texas to Luis A. and Maria (Garcia) Hernandez Sr. Luis was a Vietnam Veteran and served his country in the Army. Luis worked in the Oil field. Luis is preceded in death by his mother, two brothers; Arthur and George Hernandez Pallbearers will be Demas, Leandro, Simon and Vicente Hernandez, Ricky Rios and Lorenzo Fuentes Luis is survived by his father, Luis A. Hernandez Sr. of San Angelo and sons; Luis Anthony Hernandez of San Angelo, Jaime and Martin Hernandez of Odessa, Andrew and Jimmy Hernandez of Midland, brother, Robert Garcia Hernandez of San Angelo, sister, Sylvia Reyes of San Angelo and his partner; Anita Salinas and numerous nieces and nephews. And his special life long military buddy; Alex Tafolla.
