Luis Cruz Morales

Luis Cruz Morales, 77 of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Monday September 26, 2011 at his residence. Rosary will be 6:00 PM Wednesday September 28, 2011 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Deacon Abel Fernandez and Rev. J. T. Tucker, officiating. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Luis was born June 21, 1934 in Nueva Rosita Coah. Mexico to Manuel and Nicolaza (Cruz) Morales. He married Carmen DeLeon in Nueva Rosita, Mexico. Luis worked as a ranch hand in Knickerbocker for many years and loved to be around the horses. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and barbequing with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister. Survivors include his wife; Carmen Morales; three daughters; Juanita Garcia and husband, Felix, Nicolaza Resendiz and husband, Homero, and Maria Morales; four sons; Marcial Morales and wife, Leticia, Martin Luis Morales and girlfriend, Linda Hernandez, Samuel Morales and wife, Melissa and Manuel Morales and fiancé , Sylvia Martinez, all of San Angel; twenty-three grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; four sisters; Jacinta Morales, Eva Morales and Julia Morales and Nieves Morales; three brothers; Samuel Morales, Marcial Morales and Sylvester Morales. The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff at VistaCare, especially Peggy and Christina, They were angels sent to take care of him. Also Jt. T.
