Our Beloved Luisa Orozco Lopez, 86, went to be with her Savior and Lord on Monday, December 19, at a local health care center. Luisa was a member of New Mount of Olives Church where her son-in-law, Santos Becerra Jr is Pastor. Services will be at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel as follows, Prayer service will be Wednesday at 7:00 PM, and funeral service at 10:00 AM, Thursday with burial following at Fairmount Cemetery. Grandmas loved to shop and always dressed well. She was a hard and dedicated worker and continued to work until forced to retire because of her ill health. She was bold in sharing her Christian faith. She shared Jesus with everyone she met. We will always remember her strong will and determination. Grandma did not like the word "no". She was a generous woman, always willing to give to those in need. Her grandchildren knew just how special they were to her. She always went the extra mile for her grandchildren even in her old age. We will miss Grandma's great sense of humor and antics. We will miss our Grandma greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reyes and Crecencia Orozco, two sisters, Dolores Montes and Marcos Coronado and brother Juan Orozco. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Richard P. Lopez, three daughters, Martha Becerra and husband, Santos, Emma Lozano, Beatrice Guebara and husband, Bernie all of San Angelo and one son, Richard O. Lopez and wife, Lauren from Austin; also one brother, Jesus Orozco from San Angelo. Luisa leaves nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jared Rodriguez, Anthony Castillo, Fabian Guebara, Andy Becerra, Philip De La Cruz and Lino Urteaga. We would like to thank the staff at Cedar Manor Nursing and Rehab Center and Hospice of San Angelo for their loving and tender care of our beloved mother and grandmother.
