MANUEL CHARLES MARTINEZ

Manuel Charles Martinez, 21, of San Angelo passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2010. A Rosary will be at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Robert Massie Funeral Riverside Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Emilio Sosa, officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Manuel was born August 23, 1989 in San Angelo to Manuel and Pauline (Charles) Martinez. He attended Lakeview High School. He loved hanging out with his friends, listening to music, and playing basketball. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Polo and Nina Charles and Prudencio (Blue) Martinez. Pallbearers are Guadalupe (Lencho) Reyna, Travis Houts, Johnny Vara, Joe Louis Vara, Daniel Ramirez and Nathan Tanguma. Survivors include his parents, Manuel P. and Pauline Martinez; Sisters; Yvette and husband, John Barrera; Yvonne and husband, D. J. Skewis; Brother, Eric Blue Martinez; Two nephews, Alex Barrera and John Barrera Jr. ( Shorty), all of San Angelo, and his grandmother, Beatrice Martinez , of Eldorado and his step-grandfather, Jose (Chema) Gonzales of Permuda, TX.
