She was a nursing assistant in San Angelo for many years and she also worked at the Miles Opera House for six years. She was known as "grandma" to everyone. She enjoyed all her grandkids and loved them with all her heart. She enjoyed traveling to Mexico every opportunity she had. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fortunato and Catarina Galvan, Sons, Robert and Andres Alvarez, and her husband Domingo Alvarez. The family would like to thank the 4 south and ER staff at Shannon Medical Center, Dr. Demory, Dr. McCloy, the transit bus staff that always helped her, and Odyssey Hospice. A big thank you to all the staff along with the great friends she met at the Shannon Dialysis at St. Johns Campus.
