Margaret S. Touchton

Margaret Stanley Touchton, 85, of San Angelo, passed away on 8 June 2011, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held in 10:00 AM June 14, 2011 at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home Chapel, Jacksonville Florida, and burial will follow at 2:00 PM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery. Arrangements in San Angelo are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Margaret Touchton was born in Nola VA, to Claud D. Stanley and Leah Thompson Stanley on 4 March 1926. She went to school at Ferrum VA., and graduated from Ferrum College. She married Willie Earl Touchton Jr on 29 October 1949 in Washington DC. She worked as a clerk/typist for the Federal Government for many years. Margaret is preceded in death by her sister Nell Mullins, and brothers Lane, Warren and Charles "Chris" Stanley. Margaret is survived by her loving husband Willie Touchton of San Angelo, her daughter Daryl L. Downs and husband Joel of Jacksonville FL, and her son Larry Touchton and wife Anita, of Jacksonville FL. Margaret is also survived by her brother James Stanley of Jekyll Island GA, and her grandchildren: George Kent of Jacksonville FL, Connie Downs of Orlando FL, and Alex and Lisa Touchton of Jacksonville FL.
