Maria Irma Carrillo, 72, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022, in Ballinger.
Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM with the Rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass will be at 2:00 PM Friday, March 4, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Mrs. Carrillo was born April 3, 1949 in Acuna, Mexico. Maria married Nicanor Carrillo, Sr. on April 25, 1965. She moved to San Angelo in 1980. Maria was a homemaker to Nicanor and 6 children. She loved tending to the yard and her roses, cooking, dancing, and spending time with the grandchildren. Maria was very spiritual in the catholic faith and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Nicanor Carrillo; three sons, Alvaro Carrillo, Sr. and wife Margarita, David Carrillo and wife Liliana, and Nick Carrillo and wife Misty all of San Angelo; three daughters, Patricia Gonzalez and husband Diego, Irma Carrillo both of San Angelo, and Rosario Carrillo of Ballinger; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. Maria was preceded in death by a grandson, Alvaro Carrillo, Jr.
