Maria S. Hernandez

Maria S. Hernandez, 95, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020, in San Angelo, surrounded by her loving family. Public viewing will from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM with the family receiving friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Thursday, January 16, 2020, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, January 17, 2020, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Maria's grandson, Martin Anthony Pedroza, officiating. Burial will at Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mrs. Hernandez was born November 20, 1924, in Ballinger. Maria has been a resident of San Angelo for 75 years. She worked for Carlsbad State School as a care provider retiring in 1989. Maria was member of the Church of God. She was a foster grandparent volunteer at Reagan Elementary School. Survivors include four daughters, Adelmira Price, Ernestine Fleegal, Sofia Mendoza and Paulina Arias all of San Angelo; two sons, John Rodriguez of Fairbanks, California and Samuel Rodriguez of San Angelo; 23 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; and 14 great-great grandchildren.
