Maria Consuelo Santellano

Maria Consuelo Santellano, 79, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018, at home surrounded by family. Prayer Services will be 6:00 PM Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Mr. Ramiro Borrego, officiating. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, November 2, 2018, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Mr. Gabriel Garza, pastor of Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah Witness Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mrs. Santellano was born October 6, 1939 in Jimenez, Mexico. Maria married Pedro Santellano on December 5, 1958 in Jimenez. She has been a resident of San Angelo since 1965. She was a homemaker. Maria was a member of the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah Wetness Church. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and friends and attend family gatherings. She was a kind-hearted person, always giving and never turned anyone away. She enjoyed cooking and catering to everyone, particularly enjoyed Thanksgiving. She was the families go to person. She especially loved going to church and preaching the world of God. Survivors include her husband, Pedro Santellano of the home; two sons, Pedro Santellano, Jr. and wife Janelle, Josue U. Santellano and wife Susanna; three daughters, Marlene Santellano, Iliana Santellano, Gabrielle Santellano; 16 grandchildren, Bryan Santellano, Brent Santellano, Allen Santellano, Victoria Santellano, Veronica Santellano, Joshua Santellano, Justin Santellano, Jade Santellano, Ayden Santellano, Calvin Rodriguez, Ismerai Rodriguez, Christian Cuellar, Kristopher Juarez, Mark Juarez, Sebastian Juarez, and Adolfo Ocampo; seven great grandchildren; four siblings, Pura Salazar, Nora Banda, Elsa Gomez, and Gilbert Talamantez. Maria was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Talamantez; her mother, Leonor Campos; and three siblings Leonel Talamantez, Josue Talamantez and Elizabeth Fernandez. Serving as her pallbearers will be six of her grandsons, Bryan Santellano, Calvin Rodriguez, Joshua Santellano, Justin Santellano, Christian Cuellar and Mark Juarez.
