Maria Guadalupe Soto

Maria Guadalupe "Lupita" Soto, 65, of San Angelo passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022.

Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Liturgy of the Word will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Deacon Claudio Sanchez, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mrs. Soto was born on December 12, 1956 in Durango, Mexico to Luis and Elvira Ramirez. She married Carlos Soto in 1976 at Del Rio. She was a homemaker to Carlos and their three children and attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Lupita lived in Corpus Christi form 1982 until 2000 when she moved to San Angelo. She enjoyed having everything in its place, tending to her garden and helping others before herself. Lupita was a strong woman but very patient.

She is survived by her husband, Carlos of the home; three children, Carlos Soto, Jr. and wife Amanda of San Antonio, Nancy Soto of San Angelo, and Laura Jackson and husband Christopher of Washington D.C.; five grandchildren, Ezekiel Soto and Ivan Jacob Rodriguez both of San Angelo, Isaac Soto of San Antonio, Cristian Jackson and Catalina Jackson both of Washington, D. C.; five siblings, Socorro Ramirez of Tijuana, Mexico, Juana Saldaña of Mereta, Sylvia Saldaña and Paula Sanchez both of San Angelo, and Agustin Ramirez of Acuña, Mexico.
