MARIE HARDWICK LUMPKIN

Marie Lumpkin, 85, of San Angelo, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2006 at her residence. Family visitation will be held from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, Friday, March 17, 2006 at the Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 18, 2006 at the First Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. Kyle Reese and Rev. Ronnie Laughlin officiating. Burial will follow at the Belvedere Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Marie was born February 1, 1921 in Clark County, Arkansas to Lonnie and Ruth Hardwick. She married Doyle L. Lumpkin on May 25, 1944. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Survivors are: Husband:Doyle L. Lumpkin of San Angelo Sons:David Lumpkin and wife, Melisa of Kingwood, TX Daniel Lumpkin and wife, Margery of Sugar Land, TX Dr. James Lumpkin of Stillwater, OK Daughters:Elizabeth Murphy of Charlotte, NC Nancy Kane and husband, Leo of Indianapolis, IN Brother:Robert Hardwick and wife,Elizabeth of Livingston, TX Sister-in-law: Kay Hardwick of Lewisville, AR Nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be the Esther Sunday School Class and the Caleb Class. Memorials may be made to the Baptist Memorial's Auxiliary.
