Martha Langston

Martha Harrell Langston, 80, of San Angelo passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025.

Public viewing will be from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Monday January 6, 2024 at Robert Massie Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. There will be no procession or graveside service. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mrs. Langston was born on September 21, 1944 in San Angelo to Robert and Terry Harrell. Martha married Leland Langston on October 25, 1966 in Switzerland. He passed away on December 13, 1999. They were stationed in Germany and at Ft. Hood, Texas before returning to San Angelo. Martha wen to work for GTE/Verizon in 1983 as an Analyst. She retired in 2004 after 21 years of service. Martha was a member of many chapters of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile and Beuciants. She was a secretary at Belmore Baptist Church for 10 yrs. Martha was true to herself and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Survivors include her son, Robert Langston and spouse Christi of Balinger; two grandchildren, Ethan Langston and spouse Danielle and Tyler Langston all of Clovis, New Mexico; a great granddaughter, Oakley Langston; a nephew and two nieces, Scott Ertrevaag and spouse Andrew Stone of Pflugerville, Suzy Ertresvaag Wallace of San Angelo, and Heidi Shipp and spouse Jason of Boyd; and her poodle, Sugar.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Bobbie Kaye Ertresvaag.

The family would like to thank her second family at Belmore Baptist Church for their love and support.
