Martha Elizabeth McLaurin

Martha Elizabeth McLaurin, 87, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019, in San Angelo. Public viewing will be from 8:30 AM until 8:00 PM Friday, December 27, 2019, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, December 28, 2019, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Mike Thompson, of Veribest United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mrs. McLaurin was born March 3, 1932, in Bullard. Elizabeth married Murdock M. McLaurin on September 9, 1951 in San Angelo. He preceded her in death on December 11, 2004. She has been a resident of San Angelo most of her life. When her children grew up and went off to school, she worked for San Jacinto Elementary School as a teachers' aide for numerous years. Survivors include three sons, Michael McLaurin of Kyle, Kenneth McLaurin and wife Juanice of San Angelo and Larry McLaurin and wife Linda of Palo Pinto; a daughter, Teresa McDaniel of Hutto; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a great-great granddaughter. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Luther M. and Ethel Irene Wilson; a son, Donald McLaurin on September 21, 2012; a sister, Helen Wilson on December 28, 2015; a great granddaughter, Kylee McLaurin.
