Martin Flores Martinez, age 45, of Porterville, CA went to be with the Lord on July 16, 2005. Martin was born to Raul Martinez, Sr. of Porterville, CA and Delores Flores Martinez of Mertzon, TX. Martin was preceded in death by his brother; Raul Martinez, Jr. and paternal grandmother; Elisada Cortez both of Porterville, CA. His is survived by his wife; Cindy Martinez of Porterville, CA son; Raul Martinez and wife, Veronica and grandson baby Raul, son; Jacob Benavidez of Mertzon, daughters;Elizabeth, Sarah, Rachel and Rebecca Martinez of Mertzon; Maternal grandparents; Jesus and Lupe Flores of Mertzon, Sisters; Teresa Alcala and husband, Jose Luis, Lucy Valencia and husband, Pete, all of Mertzon; Mary Lombrana and husband, Mike of San Angelo. Brother; Oscar Martinez and wife, Monica of Edinberg, TX. and special relatives; Jose and Anita Sandoval and family of Porterville, CA We thank you for caring for our brother. Rosary service will be held 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2005 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2005 at St. Peter Catholic Church of Mertzon with Father Joseph Vathalloor officiating. Burial will follow in the Mertzon Cemetery.
