MARY HELEN RUTLEDGE ELDREDGE

Mary Helen Rutledge Eldredge, 86, of Spring Branch passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2009 in San Antonio. Visitation will be 5:00pm-7:00pm Sunday, August 9, 2009 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10:00am Monday, August 10, 2009 at Robert Massie Funeral Home Riverside Chapel in San Angelo with Mike and Ann Parham officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery. Mary Rutledge Eldredge was born in Douglas, AZ to Blake and Neita Rutledge on February 2, 1923. She went to school in Mertzon. She married Clayton R. Eldredge on July 1, 1942 in San Angelo. She graduated from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She worked as a High School English Teacher for Lake Dallas High School for 22 years. Mary Rutledge Eldredge is preceded in death by her husband, Clayton R. Eldredge, her mother and father, Neita and Blake Rutledge and two sisters, Anita Rutledge and Mozelle Scott. Mary Rutledge Eldredge is survived by her son, Steve Eldredge, her daughter Ann Parham, her sister Hootie Benson and four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Memorials may be given to Bracken Christian School, 670 Old Boerne Rd, Bulverde, TX 78163, Attn: Scholarship Fund '" In honor of Mary Eldredge.
