Mary Jo Garner, 76, of San Angelo passed away on Monday, Apri1 26, 2010 in an area hospital with her niece at her side. The daughter of Slayden and Ruby Bolinger, Mary Jo was born as a triplet on May 7, 1933 in San Saba County. Mary Jo and her sister, Jo Ann lost their sibling soon after birth. The girls were raised around San Angelo until orphaned at the age of 14 when they went to live in Sherwood with family. Mary Jo attended schools in Irion County and San Angelo. Mary Jo married Floyd Garner on August 14, 1950 in New Mexico and they had four children, Sons William, Raymond, and Leslie Garner, and daughter Gloria Loraine Garner Mioduski, who preceded her in death. Her parents and her husband also preceded Mary Jo in death. Mary Jo worked for Honeywell for a number of years until her declining health, at which time she moved in with her loving sister Jo Ann and brother-in-law, Bobby who took very special care of her for many years. Mary Jo'™s wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service at a later date. Survivors also include her devoted sister, Jo Ann Daberko, twin Grandchildren, Marcus and Mariana Garner, and Grandson Darrell Hamblen II.; Nieces Carole Anne Brown and husband Mark; Margaret Ann Ganter and husband Bruce; and Nephew Ray Allen Daberko. The family would like to send a special thanks to Dr. Chang, Park Plaza Nursing Facilities and the wonderful nurses who cared for their "sweet cheeks" as they lovingly called her. We will all miss your warm smile and contagious laugh on earth, but as a Christian you are singing with the angels.
