MARY IRENE JACKSON

Mary Irene Jackson, 62, of San Angelo passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at an area hospital. Mary was born on March 24, 1946 to Jesse Henderson Martin and Luzelle Hunnicutt in Brady, Texas. Mary married Robert Lee Jackson on September 11, 1961 in San Angelo and worked for Wal-Mart and Goodfellow Air Force Base. Funeral services will be at 1:00pm, Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Robert Massie Funeral Riverside Chapelwith Minister Nathan Bosworth, pastor of Celebration Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Jackson; son, Johnny Darl Jackson; sister, Ethel Martin, Jesse Penney, and Darlene Martin. She is survived by her son, Tommy Lee Jackson of San Angelo; daughter Lisa Nix and her husband James of Burton; grandchildren, Jessica Jackson and Justin Wilhite both of Burton; sisters, Margie Meador of Abilene; Donna Richards of San Angelo; Julie Martin of San Angelo; and Margie Ann Martin of San Angelo; brothers, Larry Ray Martin of San Angelo; R.B. Martin of San Angelo; and Bill Martin of Abilene.
