MARY LOIS DANIEL NEWMAN

Mary Lois Daniel Newman, 81, of San Angelo passed away Friday, January 2, 2009 at an area hospital. Graveside services will be held Monday, January, 5 2009 at Belvedere Memorial Park with Pastor Boyd Jennings of Green Meadows Church of Christ officiating. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mary Lois was born to Grover Cleveland Daniel and Vera France Daniel December 6, 1927 in Arden, TX. She married Frank Thomas Newman Jr. on February 23, 1946 in Campbell, CA. She was a long time employee of GTE and after many years she retired. She loved the Dallas Cowboys and to travel with Margaret and Vicki. Most of all she loved her grandchildren, who were the apple of her eye. One thing about Mary Lois was she was always surrounded by her family, and she never met a stranger, everyone knew Granny. Mary Lois is survived by her son Ken Newman and wife, Kathy, of San Angelo, and grandchildren, Gentry Fields and husband, Tanner of Seguin and Emily Newman of Lubbock, TX. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contribution be made to any charity of your choice.
