Mary Dorothy Peiser

Dorothy Peiser, 80, of Veribest went to be her Lord and Savior on Monday September 9, 2013 at a local care center. Family visitation will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday September 12, 2013 at the Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00am Friday September 13, 2013 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Rev. Mike Thomson, officiating. Burial will be 11:30am Friday September 13, 2013 at Mullins Cemetery. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Dorothy was born August 17, 1933 in Enigma, Goergia to Walter Hillman and Estell Celestia (Alexander) Shannon. She was a cashier at West Texas Utilities for many years. Dorothy married James Peiser on July 24, 1976 in San Angelo, Texas. Pallbearers will be Bric Boatright, Jerry Peiser, Tim Burrage, Gregory Phinney, Gary Phiney and Kerry Rainey. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother and sister in law; Walter Eugene and Margaret Shannon. Survivors include her husband; James Peiser of Veribest, a daughter; Rene Peiser of Irving, two nieces; Debbie Thomas and husband, Robert of Tyler and Kelly Delbert, nephew; Randy Shannon and a great nephew; Jake Shannon both of Greenville, TX., great niece; Angela Cade and husband, Wes and two great nephews; Asher Cade and Jonah Cade all of Longview, TX., and dear friends; Kerry and Jamie Rainey of San Angelo.
