Mary Ann Doggett Proctor, 91, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in Sterling City.

Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM with the family receiving friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Friday, January 24, 2025, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mrs. Proctor was born May 2, 1933 to Albert and Mary Rogers in Blythe, California. Mary married Overton C. Doggett on August 20, 1952 in Bronte. He preceded her in death on June 14, 1980. She later married Jimmie L. Proctor on August 14, 1996 in San Angelo. He preceded her in death on March 22, 2003. Mary was a cook at San Angelo State Supported Living Center for 15 years, retiring in 2007. Mary had been a resident of San Angelo since 1983 moving to Sterling City in April of 2023. Mary was a former member of Grape Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Ronnie D. Doggett and wife Julie of Sterling City; her daughter, Carolyn Ricks of Lockhart; 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a brother, Doyle Rogers of Crane. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Melvin Doggett on June 9, 2009, and 5 brothers.
