MARY JO WALLACE

Mary Jo Wallace, 78, of San Angelo passed away Saturday, September 16, 2006, in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held 11:00am, Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Donald Moon chaplain of Hospice of San Angelo presiding. Mary Jo was born May 23, 1928 in San Angelo, Texas to Arthur E. and Cornelia Treadwell Garrett. Mary Jo worked in various clerical positions for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents and a stepfather. Survivors are her daughter Brenda Smith, and husband Gary; son Rowe Wallace, and wife Kay of San Angelo; brother Arthur E. Garrett, Jr and wife Mildred of Jacksonville, Texas; and four grandchildren: Mistie Brant and husband Fred, Jennifer Smith, Shane Wallace, and Tasha Wood; great grandson Tyler Wallace and expecting her first great granddaughter Hayley Brant in January.
