Mary Lou Jones-Lane-Wright, 79, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 25, 2009. She was born Mary Lou Jones on October 15, 1929 to Roy and Jewell Jones in Farmersville, Texas. Mary Lou was a homemaker, loved to decorate, quilt, and a master seamstress. She was a member of Main Street Church of Christ and attended Businessmen'™s Bible Class. Early on, Jack and Mary Lou worked on ranches and she loved cooking for the cowboys. She will be missed by all. A family visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, July 27, 2009 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Fairmount Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Tallas officiating. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Jack Lane and Marvin Wright and sister, Dorothy Tolbert. She is survived by sons, David Lane and his wife Libby of San Angelo; Roy Lane and his wife Ramona of San Angelo; daughter, Sandra Irish and her husband John of Aylette, Virginia; brother, Herschel Jones and his wife June of Lovington, New Mexico; sister, Laverne Griffin of San Angelo; grandchildren, Kindra Lane, Zackary Lane, Keith Lane, and Jessica Lane all of San Angelo; Buffy Black and Jodie Irish of Virginia. Five great grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals for the Elderly, Hospice of San Angelo, or Vista Care Hospice.
