Melody Suzanne Lee

Melody Suzanne Lee Melody Suzanne Rezzlle Lee, born September 24, 1958 in San Angelo, completed her courageous battle with cancer on August 18, 2012. Melody's courage, strength, and positive attitude serves as a shining demonstration of dealing with difficulty in a manner others would want to emulate. Even when so very sick at times, her concerns centered around her family, particularly her husband, mother, & son, rather than herself. Viewing will be from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Tuesday, August 21, 2012 with family present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Frank Berthold officiating. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Melody attended San Angelo schools & began her working career in the restaurant business in San Angelo. Melody spent the last 18 years before her illness traveling with her husband and working beside him in the pipeline industry. Her major regret when becoming ill was the necessity of giving up the daily sharing of productive work, the satisfaction of "making a hand" and doing a job as well as or better than her co-workers. Melody was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Earl and Edna Henry, "Boppy" and "Granny", her paternal grandparents, Frank & Letha Rezzlle, brother in law Randy Lee. Melody is survived by her husband of 36 years, Ernest Lee; son, Jason Lee and wife, Amanda; grandchildren, Abbey and Ethan, of San Angelo; mother, Sue Henry McShan of San Angelo, father, Thomas H. Rezzlle of Millersview; brother Rick Rezzlle & wife Mary of Menard; Mother in law, Jonnie Lee, and Shelia Anderson & daughter, Shelley. Aunts, Jane Flint & husband Bruce, Chris Warden; uncle, David Weathersbee; cousins Jana Poole Grube, Leesa Poole Payne, Lacy Grube & Richard Cuellar, Chuck & Vanessa Grube of San Angelo, Michael Payne of Dallas, Steven & Tina Weathersbee of Baltimore, Lisa & Joe Kothmann & children, Kallin & Makinley, of Menard, Brother-in-laws R.H. Lee, Mike & Ditas Lee of San Angelo, and Benny Lee of Weatherford. Also, multiple nieces and nephews. Special thanks and appreciation to the staff of Odyssey Hospice of San Angelo and Hope House Hospice for their attitude reflecting caring and the true meaning of Hospice.
