Mercedes Castaneda Faz

Mercedes Faz, 87, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018, in San Angelo. Rosary Services will be at 6:00 PM Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel and the Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, November 5, 2018. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mrs. Faz was born January 1, 1931 in San Angelo where she was a lifelong resident. She married Robert Faz on December 17,1968 in San Angelo. He preceded her in death in 2000. Mercedes worked for Alta Loma Elementary School as a cafeteria cook for 10 years. She was a catholic. Survivors include her daughter, Pam Lam Nandin and husband Joe of San Angelo; two sons, Louie Lam and Mark Lam and a brother Jerry Faz all of San Angelo; a sister, Delores Arocha of Odessa; a brother, Manuel Castaneda; six grandchildren, Justin, Lee, Sara, Stephanie, Loryn, and Joshua; and a great grandson.
