Michael Joseph O'Connor, Sr.

Michael Joseph O'Connor, Sr., 66, of Christoval passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at a local hospital. Family visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Friday, October 17, 2014 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Rev. J. T. Tucker officiating under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Michael was born on August 20, 1948 in Washington, D.C. to Daniel and Bernell (Faull) O'Connor. He loved spending time outdoors where he would enjoy prospecting and traveling around in the RV exploring new frontiers. Michael was an artist at heart, working with wood, metal and paint, always tinkering with something. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and an aunt, Peggy McGrath. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 46 yrs Paula O'Connor of Christoval; son Mike O'Connor and wife, Pamela of Christoval; daughter Melaina McGregor and husband, Dustin of Nashville, TN; son Timothy O'Connor and wife, Fawne of Wenatchee, WA; nine grandchildren six siblings; Dan, Dennis, Eileen, Pat, Shawn and Catherine "Pinkie".
