Mildred J. Fletcher

Mildred J. Fletcher, 75, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018, in San Angelo. Services will be Saturday, August 18, 2018, at St. Paul Baptist Church with Rev. H. C. Green, pastor, and Mildred's brother, Pastor David McPherson, pastor of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Carlsbad, New Mexico, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mrs. Fletcher was born April 5, 1943 in Clarksville. She received an associates degree from Eastern New Mexico University. Mildred has been a resident of San Angelo since 1990. She was a supervisor for Goodwill for 5 years, retiring in 2010 after 10 years of service. Mildred was a member of the St. Paul Baptist Church. She was a former volunteer at Wesley Trinity Daily Bread Program for many years. Survivors include two daughters, Sonya Cowan of the home and Laundretta Morris of Killeen; two sons, Gregory McPherson and James McPherson both of San Angelo; two sister, Glenda McPherson of Killeen and Ruthie Chavers and husband Richard of San Diego; two brothers, Pastor David McPherson and wife Linda of Carlsbad, New Mexico and Larry McPherson of Lubbock; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Wilmer McPherson; a sister, Martha Lou McGhee; and two brothers, Lawrence McPherson and Don McPherson. Sign the online register at www.robertmassie.com
