Minnie Ella Graham - Sanchez

Minnie E. Graham, aged 78, transitioned peacefully on Saturday August 1, 2015 to be with the Lord. Family visitation will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday August 7, 2015 at New Birth Full Gospel Assembly church. Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday August 8, 2015 at St. Paul Baptist church with Rev. Randy McCarty, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Minnie was born January 29, 1937 in Rosebud TX. to the late Rev. Lucious James and Pearlie (Bables) Burks. She graduated from Blackshear High School, and furthered her education by obtaining her LVN license and worked at several nursing homes and hospitals until her retirement, when she later volunteered as a foster grandparent. Minnie accepted Christ into her life at an early age and has been walking with the Lord ever since. Some of her hobbies include softball and bowling. Minnie was very active in her church on the "Golden Girls Usher Board", serving in her community and loved helping others. Pallbearers will be Derrick Campbell, Albert Titus, Jr., Jacky L. Gilbert Sr., Anthony Hill, Darrell Cummings and Keith Griffis. Minnie is preceded in death by her parents, her 3 sisters, and 2 brothers. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband, Marcellars Sanchez, daughters, Tiwana Lynn Rodgers, Sharon Eileen (Leo) McCarty, grandchildren; Aschlee' Sha'Neece Fisher, T'Keyannae Rashane Fisher, Tasia Lynette Fisher, Monique' ShaLynn Graham, Aaron Dewayne Marcellars Graham, LaVonte Jhyleel McCarty, DeMauria Khyleel McCarty, Kandice Faith McCarty, great grandchildren; Makayla ShyAnn Graham, Kamya Nevaeh Graham, Auriele J'Nae Graham, Josiah Aiden Laughard, Tristain Marcellars Graham, brother; James Burks, sisters; Winnie Reed, Cleo Lewis and a host of nieces and nephews.
