Minnie Belle Timm Turner 92 died on September 16, 2017 in Round Rock, Texas. She was born in San Angelo on July 23, 1925. Minnie graduated from San Angelo High School and received her B.A. from the University of Texas and her Master's degree from Emporia State College in Kansas. A longtime resident of San Angelo, Minnie taught math at Washington Jr. High and Central High School. After retiring as an educator, she and husband Bob opened and operated Nautilus Fitness Center and San Angelo Copy Center. In their retirement years, Minnie and Bob enjoyed many adventures around the country in their motor home. Dancing and working Sudoku puzzles were also Minnie's favorite pastimes. Minnie was preceded in death by husband Robert Miles Turner, Jr., infant son Raymond Albert, and sister Alice Stewart. She is survived by daughter Theresa and husband Forrest Holloway, granddaughters Trisha Holloway and Tina Holloway, brother James Timm, sister Rita and husband John Specht, and beloved nephews and nieces. The family would like to thank Halcyon Home Health, Hospice, and Minnie's friends and the staff of Provident Crossing Retirement Community of Round Rock. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Fairmount Cemetery with David Timm, officiating, under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
