Mose Olveda Rodriguez

Mose O. Rodriguez, 70, of San Angelo passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

Viewing will be from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM Monday, September 19, 2022 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel and Rosary will be at 6:00 PM. Mass will be said at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with father Lazaro Hernandez, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Belvedere Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Rodriguez was born September 10, 1952 in San Angelo to Victor and Victoria Rodriguez. Mose was raised in San Angelo and attended school in San Angelo. He met his wife, Gloria Urteaga in 2005 and they were later married. He worked as a mason in the construction business most of his adult life. Mose enjoyed cooking on his BBQ pit for friends and family. He was fun loving, hardworking, and a lot of the times, had no filter. In the evenings you could find him relaxing on the porch with his dog, Chuco.

Mose was preceded in death by two brothers, Victor Rodriguez and Erasmo Rodriguez.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria of the home; three children, David Varela of San Angelo, Deborah Bowman and husband Clarence of Schertz, and Yvonne Martinez and husband Julio of San Angelo; six siblings, Tony Rodriguez and wife Erlinda of San Angelo, George Rodriguez of Grape Creek, Marcos Rodriguez and wife Candy of La Grange, Jesse Rodriguez and wife Alicia of San Angelo, Esmerelda De La Rosa and husband Felix of San Angelo, and Eddie Rodriguez, Jr. of Abilene; an aunt, Maggie Garcia, seven grandchildren, including Mikayla Martinez, seven great-grandchildren; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
