MURDOCK M. McLAURIN

Murdock McLaurin, 74, of San Angelo, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2004 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Rev. Barbara Dyke with the Day Memorial UMC will be officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Murdock was born July 19, 1930 in Fort Worth to Murdock and Mabel McLaurin. He married Martha Elizabeth Wilson, September, 9, 1951 in San Angelo. He retired from WTU in 1992 after serving thirty-nine years. Murdock was dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was a Charter Member of the Day Memorial UMC. He was preceded in death by his parents and one great-grandson. Survivors are: Wife:Elizabeth McLaurin Of San Angelo Son:Michael McLaurin Of Kyle, TX Daughter:Teresa McDaniel Of Austin Son:Kenneth McLaurin and wife, Juanice Of San Angelo Son:Donald McLaurin of San Angelo Son:Larry McLaurin of Arlington Ten:Grandchildren Four:Great-grandchildren Pallbearers will be Roy Grosshans, Ronnie Roe, Rick Dyke, Glenn Erwin, Bob White and Jim Tumlinson. The family requests that Memorials be made to a favorite charity.
