Myrtle Jane (Wyatt) Donahoo

Myrtle Jane Donahoo (Wyatt), of San Angelo, Texas died on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at a local nursing home. A graveside service will be Tuesday, March 9 at 2:00 pm at Jenkins Springs Cemetery near Early, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Myrtle was born on June 15, 1936 near Early, Texas to Robert and Laura Wyatt. She was one of 10 Wyatt children. She graduated from Early High School and attended Howard Payne College where she was honored as being elected as one of the campus beauties. She married her beloved James Ray Donahoo on July 21, 1956. Their union was blessed with a son, Bryan and a daughter, Laura.
James and Myrtle lived most of their life in San Angelo after her husband's service in the United States Navy. She had a long career as a secretary for Lone Star Natural Gas Company. James and Myrtle were faithful members of Park Heights Baptist Church where she assisted with the nursery ministry. She was most recently a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
Preceding in death are her husband, her parents, a sister, Mary Jo Donahoo, five brothers, Robert Wyatt, Gene Wyatt, Jim Wyatt, Rex Wyatt, and George Wyatt.
Survivors include her son, Bryan and wife Diane of Tomball, and one daughter Laura West and husband Joe David of San Angelo; eight grandchildren, David Donahoo and wife Katie of Houston, Jason West and wife Mollie of Austin, Jacob West and wife Emily of Plainview, Paul Donahoo and wife Cheryl of Waco, Brandon West and wife Allyson of New Braunfels, Seth Donahoo and fiancee Kimberly of Willis, Anna Donahoo Guido and husband Bob of Waterloo, Ontario, and Sarah Donahoo of the Republic of Georgia. Her 16 great grandchildren include David's children, Deacon, Shepherd, Truman, Shuva, Kalev, Avi, Moriyah; Jason's children, Jackson, Audrey, Norah; Jacob's children Ellie, Ryan, Natalie; Paul's children Charis, Hannah and Caleb. She is also survived by two sisters, Pat Reynolds and Martha Ryman, one brother, Dan Wyatt, brother and sisters by marriage, Howard Ryman, Janis Wyatt, Wendell & Margie Donahoo, Peggy Wyatt, Winona Donahoo, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the dedicated care of Comfort Keepers, Sara Martinez Caregivers, New Haven Memory Care, St. Gabriel's Hospice and special caregivers; Dora, April and Britney.
