Nancy N. Flores

Nancy N. Flores, 73, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 27, 2013 with her family by her side, after a battle with cancer. Nancy was born in Carlsbad, NM on December 7, 1939 to Manuel Najar and Alejandra Munoz. She married her childhood sweetheart Tony P. Flores on August 11, 1956. They would have been married 57 years on August 11, 2013. Viewing will start on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2013 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Joey Faylona officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Roy Aguilar, Edward Robles, Ernie Robles, Robert Rodriguez, Michael Garivay and Carlos Arroyo, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Najar, Alejandra Munoz, sister Tillie Ramos and grandson Christopher Flores Hernandez. Nancy is survived by her husband, Tony P. Flores, daughters; Betty Arroyo, Patricia Hernandez, sons David E. Flores, Sr., Tony Flores, Jr. and wife, Amy all of San Angelo; half sisters Angie Paliwoda of Huntington Beach, CA; Olivia Vallejos and husband Richard of Roswell, NM and a special granddaughter Nancy Ann Flores of San Angelo. All in all she had 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. Nancy was a loving and caring person who touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. She was a lover of animals. Nancy enjoyed making jewelry and watching Tiger Woods and the Cowboys. The family would like to thank Dr. Dunham, Dr. Cummings and the 5th floor staff at Shannon Hospital for all their wonderful care of our wife and mother.
