NORMA JEAN MARSHALL

Norma Jean Marshall, 80, of San Angelo passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2009 at her residence with her loving family at her side. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Calvary Cemetery with Chaplain J. T. Tucker officiating. Norma was born in Orangefield, TX on June 11, 1928 to Richard and Ruth (Thomas) McGuire. She married Lawrence Ellis Marshall in Orange, TX on March 28, 1947. After they were married, Norma and Lawrence moved to Pecos. Lawrence preceded her in death on October 27, 1965. Norma remained in Pecos until 1985 when she retired. She then moved to San Angelo. Norma was a loving and devoted wife, mother and dear friend to family and others she befriended. Norma's parents, Richard and Ruth McGuire; brother, R. A. McGuire and an aunt, Bernice DcDermand, preceded Norma in death. She is survived by her sons; Greg Marshall of Corpus Christi; Bob Marshall of Dallas; Richard Dempsey Marshall and wife, Leslie of San Angelo; grandchildren; Amber Jean Marshall; Leia Marie Marshall, Norma Nicole Marshall all of San Angelo; Jean Ann Marshall of Houston, TX and Connie Marie Marshall of Los Angeles.
