OLLIE MURIEL GOETZ

Petsey went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 22, 2004 at her residence. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, August, 24, 2004 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with the Rev. Barbara Dyke, pastor of the Grape Creek United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at the Grape Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Petsey was born December, 10, 1934 in San Angelo. She was an L.V.N. and served people for over 20 years in her professional career before retiring. She enjoyed oil painting, having watched her mother, Marie Henson, paint for many years. She married Charles Goetz on February, 21, 1951 in San Angelo. Petsey is preceded in death by her mother, Marie Henson and 2 special uncles, Burney and Earl. She is survived by; her husband, Charles Goetz Sr. of San Angelo, a son Charles (Danny) Goetz, Jr. and his wife, Debbie of Christoval, three daughters, Debbie Goetz Fiveash and her husband, Jimmy, Diana Harrison and her husband, Kippy, and Denise Hirsch, an uncle J. W. Henson, all of San Angelo; 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 7 step-grandchildren; 2 life-long family friends; Lucille Gilliam and Kitty Floyd, both of San Angelo. Pallbearers will be; Gary Goetz, Jeremy Joiner, Israel Joiner, Steve Floyd, Sal Caballero, Clay Elliot and Justin Elliott The family wishes to give special thanks to Jean, Alice and Al and all of the nurses of Hospice of San Angelo and to the family and friends for their prayers and comfort given to the family during this trying time.
