Ollie Dean Bowden Rose, 90, passed away Friday, June 14, 2024, in San Angelo.

Public Viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM and the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, June 21, 2024. Graveside service will be 3:00 PM Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Harriett Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rose was born November 14, 1933 in Norton. She was married to John Carl Rose February 3, 1952 for 58 years. Ollie was a homemaker who took pride in her garden and enjoyed growing a variety of plants. She enjoyed playing cards and dominos with her friends and family. Ollie is survived by her son John Carl Rose Jr. and his wife Betty, his three children Megan, Taylor, and John Carl Rose III. She is also survived by her daughter Carla Houston and her husband Cary, her five daughters and their children, Christy and Anthony Barbu with Kerrigan and Nolan: Carey Ann and Wes Smithson with Maddison and Aubrey: Courtney and Brian Eubanks with Allison, Charlotte, and Blake: Corey Houston: Casey and Billy McBee. She is also survived by her sister Shirley Jean Hambright. She attended Southgate Church of Christ and after the passing of her husband in 2010 volunteered her time at Community Hospital.
