Oralia F. Sanchez, 95, of San Angelo passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022.
Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with the Rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM. Mass will be said at 10:00 AM Thursday, February 24, 2022 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Ismael Velasco Ornelas, officiating. Burial will follow at Belvedere Memorial Park under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sanchez was born on April 24, 1926 in San Angelo. She married Guadalupe Sanchez on February 15, 1942 in San Angelo. He passed away in 1975, they were married for 33 years. Oralia was a loving housewife and mother to Guadalupe and their 4 children, Lupe, Margaret, Carlos, and Sylvia. She enjoyed working in her garden, dancing, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Lupe Sanchez, Jr. and Carlos Sanchez, Sr.; a grandson, Robert Robles; a sister, Guadalupe Caballero; and a brother, Salvador Deanda.
Oralia is survived by her two daughters, Margaret Salazar and Sylvia Estrada and husband Epifanio "Joe", all of San Angelo; 10 grandchildren, Manuel Hinojos of Amarillo, David Hinojos and Edward Hinojos, both of San Angelo, Victoria Porterfield of Port Jervis, New York, Patricia Laabs of Midland, Cynthia Kosaka and husband Alexander, Joe Robles, Jr., and Carlos Sanchez, Jr., all of San Angelo, Stefanie Wepler-Sanchez of Fate, Noemi Estrada of San Angelo, and Twila Goshert of Abilene; her special great-granddaughter, Olivia Kosaka and numerous other great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren and three nieces.
