Otilia Hodeda Gutierrez

Otilia Hogeda Gutierrez, 79, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at a local care center. Rosary will be held 7:00 pm Friday, February 13, 2015 in Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, February 14, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Joey Faylona officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Otilia was born in Floresville, Texas to Severo and Cruz (Martinez) Hogeda. She married Jose Gutierrez on August 28, 1954 in San Angelo, Texas at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be, Jose Ruiz, Justin Gutierrez, Nathan Gutierrez, Mauricio Franco, Efren Martinez and Marty Houser. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, and daughter, Daisy Martinez. Otilia is survived by three daughters, Jo Ann Sevier; Janie Rodriguez and husband Richard; Barbara Aguilar and husband Manuel; three sons, Julian Martinez and wife Adela; Joe Gutierrez Jr.; Larry Gutierrez and wife Margaret; two brothers, Henry Hogeda and wife Ofelia; and Severo Hogeda Jr.; 20 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
