Patricio Velasquez Rodriguez

Patricio V. Rodriguez, 104 of San Angelo went to be with his Lord on Thursday August 8, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Viewing will be from 10:00am to 8:00pm Saturday August 10, 2013 and Sunday August 11, 2013 from 1:00pm to 8:00pm. Rosary will be 7:00pm Sunday August 11, 2013 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00am Monday August 12, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Emilio Sosa, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven memorial Gardens. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Patricio was born March 17, 1909 in Martindale, Texas to Pedro and Juanita (Velasquez) Rodriguez. Patricio was a cabinetmaker at Terrill Manufacturing and he served his country in the U.S. Army. He married Rebecca Aguirre in Rowena, TX., on December 3, 1945. Pallbearers will be Robert D. Rodriguez, Abel Estrada Jr., Mario A. Rodriguez Jr., Steven Michael Estrada, Anthony Rodriguez and James Michael Rodriguez. He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter and son in law; Alice and Joe Siller, four brothers; and son in law; Abel Estrada Sr. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Rebecca A. Rodriguez, daughter; Juanita Estrada of Ft. Worth; five sons; Raul (Roy) Rodriguez and wife, Sara and Mario A. Rodriguez Sr. and wife, Janie, all of San Angelo, Artie Rodriguez and wife, Toni of Odessa, Albert Rodriguez and wife, Hope of Ft. Worth and Pat Rodriguez of Odessa; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricio's memory may be given to Odyssey Hospice The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Odyssey Hospice staff especially Isabel Melcher, Lilia Perez and Steve and Katy Osborne.
