PAULINE OLSEN MCKELVEY

Pauline Olsen McKelvey, 90, of San Angelo passed into rest Wednesday December 10, 2008 at an area nursing home. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, December 15, 2008 at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Sherman, Texas. Sherman arrangements are by Waldo Funeral Home. San Angelo arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Pauline was born in Sherman, Texas to George M. and Clara Whitfield Olsen on April 4, 1918. She married Charles Vernon McKelvey on February 6, 1936 in Sherman, Texas. Pauline was a Librarian, for Kurth Memorial Library, in Lufkin, Texas, for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles McKelvey; a grandson, Mickey Lawrence; a daughter, Polly Fincher, and a sister Ruth Olsen. Pauline is survived by two daughters, Kathie Weaverling and husband Scott of Knoxville, Tennessee, Sarah Elkins and husband Dean of San Angelo; six grandchildren, Chuck Gibson and wife Michelle of Grand Prairie, Sarah Loveless and husband Alan of Lawton, Oklahoma, Kristen Davis and husband Brian of Everett, Washington, Reese Chamberlain of Denton, Texas, Caitlin Chamberlain of San Angelo, Texas, Troy French of Ocala, Florida; and nine great grandchildren. Our beloved "Marnie" was known by her friendly smile and made friends with everyone she met. We will greatly miss her.
