Payton Thailer Marshall

Payton Thailer Marshall ascended to his heavenly home on August 26, 2014. Payton, age 13, was born on January 30, 2001 to Lonny G. and Carol Annette Marshall in San Angelo Texas. He had an adventurous life through travels with his family. He lived in the states of Texas, Virginia, and Illinois. He resided with his mother and had attended Holiman Elementary and was currently an 8th grader at Lincoln Jr. High. He was both funny and smart and truly a child with no limits. He saw the world through innocent eyes and with a gentle soul. Those who were close to Payton were blessed to enjoy his quick wit and humor. Some of his very favorite things are pepperoni pizza, his collection of Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, monitoring the weather, the movie Coraline, and spending time with his mom. His interests included an assortment of activities such as bowling, golfing, tennis, running, basketball, and swimming but nothing compared to his skills with video gaming. He also had a wonderful talent with playing musical instruments. Payton's true ambition in life was to be a surgeon and he spoke of this dream fondly. Payton is survived by his parents Carol Annette Marshall of San Angelo Texas and Lonny G. Marshall of Las Vegas, Nevada, his grandparents, Norman and Earnestine Marshall of San Antonio, Texas, and Arthur and Carolyn Windham of Coleman, Texas and many loving uncles, aunts, and cousins. Payton was an extraordinary young man, just a totally awesome kid with an ability to touch the heart of all those that had the opportunity and took the time to know him. He is greatly loved by so so many and will be missed by all.
