PEDRO CHAVARRIA, Sr.

Pedro Guerrero Chavarria, Sr. 74, of San Angelo, passed away Friday, June 17, 2005 at his residence. Prayer service will be held at 6:00 PM, Sunday, June 19, 2005 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 20, 2005 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Gabriel Garza will be officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Pedro was born April 27, 1931 in San Angelo. He worked as a maintenance man for Arroyo Square Apartments for over 25 years. He was instrumental in his religion and he held meetings and church gatherings in his home starting in the early 1950's. He was a faithful Jehovah's Witness for over 40 years. Pedro was preceded in death by his parents, Isabel and Delfina Cedillo Chavarria. Survivors include his wife, Maria Luisa Chavarria; brother, Gilbert Chavarria and wife, Victoria; sister, Antonia Carbjal and husband, Gilbert; daughter, Elizabeth Hernandez and husband, Luis; sons, Pedro Chavarria, Jr. and wife, Sarah, Roy Chavarria, Joe Chavarria and wife, Azalia, Juan Chavarria, George Chavarria, Ezequiel Chavarria, and Jeremiah Chavarria all of San Angelo; daughter, Carmen Trevino and husband, David of San Antonio; grandchildren, Gabriel Chavarria, Linda Delgado, Amy Garcia, Monica Trevino, Abigail Chavarria, Norma Chavarria, Angela Chavarria, Andrea Lopez, Erica Hernandez, Johnny Hernandez, Desirae Trevino, Roy Chavarria Jr., Andrea Pena, Magdalena Chavarria all of San Angelo and Juan Wise of Pontiac, MI; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
