Pedro Pena

Pedro "Pete" Peña, Sr., 78, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Memorial service will be 12:30 PM Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Oasis Baptist Church, 306 E. 39th Street, San Angelo, Texas 76903 with Rev. David Deanda, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Peña was born December 4, 1943 in San Angelo where Pete has been a lifelong resident. Pete married Elida Solis on February 25, 1967 in San Angelo. He was heavy equipment operator for the City of San Angelo for 28 years retiring in 2000 and after retirement he became a school crossing guard at several different schools. Pete was a member of the Oasis Baptist Church. Pete loved being with his family and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Elida Solis; two sons, Pedro Peña, Jr. and wife Robbi of Brownwood; Danny Peña and wife Jessica of San Angelo; three daughters, Sonia Gomez and husband Frank, Theresa Peña, and Grace Salgado and husband Ruben all of San Angelo; 2 sisters; 1 brother; 19 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
