PEGGY JOE TEAGARDEN WATSON

Peggy Joe Teagarden Watson, 73, a resident of Rancho Cucamonga, California, formerly of San Angelo, Texas died on Tuesday, September 2, 2008. She was born in San Angelo, Texas on March 2, 1935, the youngest of six children to Hazel and Joe Teagarden. She was a retired apartment manager, an accomplished pianist, and singer. She performed all over the world and was still playing for groups in rest homes up till her death. Her greatest love was her family and her music. Her choice of music ranged from classical, jazz to the good old oldies. She was a formal member of Hillcrest Baptist Church of San Angelo, Texas. Visitation will be on Friday, September 12, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Friday, September 12, 2008 2:00 p.m. in Miles Cemetery with Brother Rody Chesser officiating. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Watson, three brothers, Fred, Jelly, and Pete Teagarden, a sister Mildred Schlosser, and her mother and dad, Hazel and Joe Teagarden. She is survived by her son, Mark Watson and his wife Mary of Altus, Ok; a daughter Becky Watson of Tucson, Az. Three grandchildren, Rachel, Sarah, and Wade. Four great grandchildren and a sister, Norma Teagarden Boone and her husband Charlie Boone of San Angelo, Texas.
