Presentacio R. Leyva

Our beloved, Presentacion R. Leyva went to be with the Lord on Saturday January 26, 2013 at an area care center. Vigil service will be 7:00pm Monday January 28, 2013 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00am Tuesday January 29, 2013 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Daniel Olivan, of Segunda Bautista Iglesias, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral home. Presentacion was born November 21, 1933 in Jimenez, Mexico to Anastacio and Maria (Rodriguez) Leyva. He married Maria Esperanza Escobar on September 8, 1956 in Jimenez, Mexico. He worked as a farm laborer, for Santa Fe Railroad, the City of San Angelo. He retired from Trashaway after 22 years. He was a person that would help anyone in need, a very hard worker, loving son, father and grandfather. He raised farm animals, loved his goats, horses and his iris plants. A person that respected life and what came with it, good or bad. He will be greatly missed. Pallbearers will be Fernando Leyva, Juan N. Leyva, Greg Leyva, Johnny R. Medrano, Reynaldo Leyva and Jonathan Leyva. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, David Leyva and Anastacio Leyva, two sisters, Sofia Santellano and Mela Carvajal Survivors include his wife, Maria Esperanza Leyva, daughter, Martha Leyva, sons; Fernando Leyva, Rodrigo Leyva, Juan Leyva and wife, Betsy and Jacinto Leyva and wife Maricela, sisters; Martha Garcia, Maria del Refujio Villarreal, brother, Jesse Leyva, twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, all of San Angelo 23rd Psalm: The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want: For thou art with me..
